| Welcome to our site Driver Rehabilitation & Fleet Safety Services (Driver Rehab) is a clinical
unit within the University of Sydney. It was established in 1989 to provide state of the art
rehabilitation services for clients having difficulty driving. Driving for most Australians is
an activity of daily living.
We rely on driving for independence to meet our social, recreational
and vocational needs. There are very few people who cannot drive for medical reasons. However,
physical psychological or cognitive problems resulting from car accidents, work injuries or
other disabilities can make driving difficult for many people.
Driver Rehab can help people regain the skills and confidence they need
for driving vehicles or workplace equipment following illness, injury or disability. |
